In this case, a window for plastic windows in a wooden house should be made immediately, since, as a rule, no one can wait so much time for shrinkage.
The downside to wood windows may be that you have to renew them periodically. Although the varnishes and paints that are currently covered with wooden windows are not permeable to flaky and therefore will not crack, it is not necessary to clean it before upgrading, simply sand with sandpaper or a special painting cover and a coating agent can now apply a new coat of paint.

The following option will be more suitable: at the ends of the opening, you need to cut the ridges. It will be possible to put on a window carriage with a groove on them. Logs, which will dry out and shrink, will end up inside this carriage for several years, it will allow them to move freely, while on window frame no pressure will be exerted.

For manufacturing, you will need to draw the timber accordingly. To do this, you need to divide the timber from the wide part with lines into three equal parts. After that, you need to make an incision 5 cm deep, longitudinal cuts should be made at a frequency of 1 cm: this will allow you to gently break the groove without the use of unnecessary tools and efforts. This can be done with a small ax, then trim the grooves with a chisel. Each window will require two such products.
Preparation of a window opening

Before you start attaching the carriage, you need to take care of creating a ridge. How to mount the casing?
After all the cuts in the window opening are made, you can proceed to the installation of the casing, which is a key stage before the installation of the windows themselves.
First of all, you will need to cut out the upper part of the product from a 150x40 board. In it, it will be necessary to saw the grooves for the ridge: this structure will make the upper side of the opening, then this part is put on the ridge. Make sure the board you choose is level. So that the windows do not creak and the comb is not blown out, wrap it before installing tow. It will be possible to put on carriages on it. The upper part of the structure can be screwed on with self-tapping screws. You cannot fix to the ridge, otherwise the system will not work.
Before it is made in a wooden house on plastic or their installation from scratch, it is necessary to check whether the okosyachka turned out to be even. Also, check the dimensions of the window. It should be about 4 cm less than the window opening: this difference will help foam the structure and attach it securely. In addition, the opening must be 7 cm higher than the window: this difference is also necessary for installation work.
Please note that a gap of about 5 cm should be left between the log and the top of the window opening. This is an installation width that will help you easily insert the frame. If the frame is wooden, the gap should be no more than 2 cm; a small gap of 1 cm is left for foam on each side of the frame.

To secure the frame, use little foam alone. The windows are fixed with special fasteners, which can be purchased with them. For installation, the sashes are usually removed, which makes the frame quite light. It is easy to screw it to wooden structure, the main thing is to correctly expose the window so that there are no distortions. Special wooden or plastic spacers can be used. After that, all cracks are filled with polyurethane foam. It is important that the windows are inserted in level, and the self-tapping screw in no case gets into the ridge.
